iRest Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra, performed seated or reclined, is a deep relaxation, self-inquiry and a meditation. The practise of iRest yoga nidra in particular, combines the ancient practise of yoga nidra with research-based evidence and allows you to ease into deep states of relaxation and obtain restful sleep. Over time iRest yoga Nidra can help enhance wellbeing, assist in coping with stress, decrease anxiety, depression and improve sleep.

 

This practise is accessible to everyone, and you don’t need any props or equipment to practise. It’s a practise that meets you where you are, and the benefits are profound. While the intension is to stay awake, it’s ok if you fall asleep, you will still benefit from this practise. Try and incorporate this practise into your daily routine at a time when you are least likely to be disturbed.
